MODERN BANKNOTE FUNDAMENTALS Securing Substrate A Crane Currency Banknote Educational Symposium in collaboration with the National Bank of Kazakhstan 14-18 April 2025 - Almaty, Kazakhstan

In today's world, ensuring the authenticity and security of banknotes against counterfeiting is a key task for both central banks and currency developers.
Under the influence of new technologies and constant growth of threats in the sphere of counterfeiting, the substrate - the base of the banknote - becomes not just an image carrier, but also an active element of the protection system.

The symposium was held in Almaty, one of the key financial centers of Central Asia, and is designed for specialists in the field of banknote business, currency policy, security and financial regulation.
